doesnt anyone understand ? these power plants only generate because there is a need. if everyone reduces their individual use of electricity then there be less requirement for these huge base load stations. we still need a varience of how electricity is produced, but to those people tearing down fences i say this : channel your energy to something more constructive.

The national grid is prepared for this kind of thing. If it had been shut down no-one would have noticed. Although the atmosphere might have noticed a lack of dirty coal being being belched out. Eon's profit margins too...
