@nikolayzou I don't understand the limits of your political vision. You don't like police officers, public universities, etc? I can say generally that flatter and low taxes only work if labor representation is strong (i.e., the wage gap is small); see Japan. I used to be a libertarian until I realized that consumer protections and a modest 40%-60% tax rate on the wealthy has is not harmful. I don't believe in a one-shot ideological answer; I base my economic opinion on conditions.
@Rattapax I am against all forms of Government, we don't need Governments to look after us. Redistribution of wealth does not work, think about it, the people who redistribute your wealth (Government) need to get paid, they don't produce anything. Simply let people keep and spend their own money, they will make mistakes, sure, but only harm themselves, then Governments make mistakes, everyone suffers.
@JoeNietzsche i'm an undisciplined thinker? ok...thanks for avoiding my questions and points about the non existence of the free market. when the debate is lost, slander becomes the tool of the loser- socrates
This egg head genius academic gets some stuff right. But he clearly doesn't understand libertarianisim which is nearly the opposite of his socialist mentality. Chomsky lives in a bizarre world of intellectual elite isolated from reality. He has no common sence and probably doesn't know what end of a screwdriver to hold on to. END-the FED.
And watch the kids take their brainwashing medicine. FREEDOM is FREE try it you may like it.
@JoeNietzsche like i said we don't have a free market. i am serious, are you? when the most powerful corporations get bailed out instead of going bankrupt (like they should in a real free market), then how can you say we know what a free market is? really think about that for me. since we run our markets on keynesian interventionist principals we can not have a truly free market.
@pffffffuckthat How can we doubt a free market when we havent seen one in action before? You're not serious, are you? Take a few minutes and think about that, please. Don't get me wrong, I'd be willing to give em a shot for some things (not everything) but there is always room for doubt.
