there is a large "ice house" where ice used to be made when people didnt have refridgerators... we tryed to enter but the owner threataned to call the police. i dont what the guy dose in there but hes a well known surgeon...

Is this the building on North Street across from park? Many family members worked in these buildings all over the area. Remember always buying their shoes! I was lucky enough to tour one of the factories still in action, when I was a kid. So sad that era is gone.

@Paperista Yep...sure is that building. Bought for 400K and still it rots. they junked all the old machinery.

The song is "FREDERIC" by Patti Smith...I got it offa you tube. I think this factory is the fave place I have been. So huge and comfy and bright.
