i was waiting for around three hours when a doctor walked up to the waiting room.
"Who is here for..." he looked at his clip board.
"Jeanette Meza?" i jumped out of my seat and ran to him.
"i'm guessing you are young man..." my brothers came up
"men."
"is she okay can i go see her now?"
"she is okay but she will have to take depression pills and see a therapist once every week on Wednesday. Who here is Nick?"
"I am sir!" what how does he know my name?
"i will need to ask you some questions."
"okay..." my brothers sat back down and i followed the doctor into an office. i sat down in a brown leather chair and the doctor sat across fro me.
"now while we were working on Jeanette she was kept saying your name?" i got a little excited.
"okay?"
"do you know what happened?"
"she was so tired of hurting so badly all the time that she wanted it all to stop so this was the only way she could stop it i would think?"
"What happened to lead to this?"
"Well when she was five her mom abandoned her and her dad abused her. Her dad killed himself four day ago and her mom came back today."
"is their anything she has against her mother?" is this man stupid or what?!
"um yeah im just guessing here but im sure it was because she decided to come back after 11 years and to top it off after her dad died."
"i see, so how are you so close to jeanette?" another stupid question.
"iv'e known her science we were three in kindergarten and were best friends from that day on....She told me that i was always their for her and that she knows i always will be."
"i see...well thank you for your time nick you can go now." i walked out of the office and closed the door once i was away from the windows i ran to the front desk.
"Jeanette meza!"
"lets see...oh yes!! second floor room 304."
"thank you!" i yelled as i ran to the elevator i reached the second floor and ran down the hall way on the right.
"298, 301, 304!" i slowly opened the door to see jeanette asleep on a bed. i walked over and set a chair by the side of the bed. i grabbed her hand and looked at the stitched up cuts. a tear slid down my cheek. i wiped it away and started to softly rub the back of her hand with my thumb.
"Jeanette you have no clue how happy i am that you are alive." i whispered so i wouldn't wake her up apparently not doing a good job of it. Jeanette moved a little then opened her eyes she looked around the room then finally laid her eyes on me. she sat up grabbed my arm and pulled me into a hug.
"please tell me that you didn't tell the doctor." i sighed
"don't worry Jeanette i didn't." she let me go and leaned her back against the head board.
Jeanette's P.O.V
i guessed my plan failed.
"why didn't it work?" i asked to my self.
"Jeanette i don't know why you would try and kill your self it would only make your mom glad that your out of the way." drat i said it to loud.
"yes Nick but she would of left you alone." Nick sighed
"Jeanette just please promise me promise me and dont even think about breaking it! that you will never ever EVER! try to kill your self again!" i sighed and rolled my eyes.
"i promise."
