You're beautiful, nice, good English...
But you teach WRONG Vietnamese...="=...like...nobo
dy talks like that...and due to the relationship between you and a new person you've just met nobody ask "How are you?" (The translation you've got for it is wrong too btw) @MrGatoka84: It's hard to explain but you often use "dạ" as an addition in your sentence to make it more polite. It shows respect. People normally use "dạ" when they're smaller or have lower rank than the person they're talking to.

I know from the previous lesson that da=yes, but what does it mean in the context of this example?

Hi, thank you so much for making this video , one question/request can you PLEASE clarify ,when greeting some on in Vietnamese how the bow goes.
I am familiar with the idea that each Asian country has a bit of a difference in how to greet some one regarding Your Body language.
eg, japanese can make a more formal low bow, and Laos & Thai do praying hands and nodded head
thanks

tại sao chưa quen nhau mà đã dùng câu hỏi ''Bạn khỏe không?''
bạn phải có mối quan hệ ở một mức độ nào đó rồi mới hỏi. chứ không phải hỏi câu đó lúc mới làm quen.^^!

in Vietnamese, how are you = " Bạn khỏe không ? " . From " Dạ " head sentence does not make sense
