if u watch at the very beginning before the swing(might have to replay it a couple times), he actually bends the shaft twice by pressing it down on the ground. Its almost like hes building up strength or getting his adrenaline going. But maybe hes just doing that to relieve tension in his hands or just because he likes to do it for no good reason... either way thats a weird querk i havent seen before but it worked for him
Snead was not over the top. Notice the difference between his foot alignment and his shoulder alignment. His shoulder line is relatively square. There is also good and bad versions of below the plane on the the backswing. The typical mistake is when the club head travels inside but the hands do not, or even move away from the body. This also usually features a clubface that is rolled open too soon. Snead looks to keep the clubface relatively square to the arc on the takeaway.
