She's a good singer, there's no denying that, but the way she sings a note below the right note and THEN sings the right note makes me want to scream!

that was just disrespectful and awful, but this is the current and popular fashion of singing, with all of these squeaks and note changes that detract rather than add to the performance. how and why did we get to this state that we have to make everything sound sappy or twangy? the national anthem reflects a country's majesty and greatness, and should be rendered as such. one example of a proper and respectful rendition is Robert Merrill's, regularly played at Yankee Stadium.

you guys have no idea what you're talking about. you guys are dissagreeing with her "swooping" well its time we've had a change in music. EVERYONE does the same stuff, lexi's voice is different, and i LOVE it.

Yes she was in Standing Ovation... "All I Wanna Do is Sing" was her own song she wrote and performed in the movie.
