Clearly you don't understand ECW the way REAL wrestling fans understand it. Sure, it had it's jokes like Sandman, but every wrestling company has it's jokes. At least nobody in ECW had a generic gimmick, a stupid storyline, and put on shows for dead, disrespectful crowds.

btw, when I said it would never "truly" die, I meant what it stood for will never die for it's fans. Heyman and the crew created magic that'll never forgotten. Period.

i think that comes down to personal taste, i prefer czw as well, but someone who doesn't think very highly of hardcore wrestling may not appreciate it as much. they'll prefer a more one dimensional company. i agree with you actually lol i'm just saying.

Everyone has their own opinion. But by a logical standpoint CZW is the best on the indy circuit. Chikara is a very 1 sided company, the comic-book characters and 3 on 3 shows almost all the time. It is very different which I like, but compared to CZW? CZW has everything, it's more broad than any other indy, CZW has everything Chikara has in fact, plus tons more. People just bash CZW because it's known more for it's Hardcore aspect, which is only utilized in the main events. I like chikara though

The way I see it, the difference between CZW's deathmatches and ECW's deathmatches was that ECW was more subtle. The subtly gave an atmosphere of "less is more" about the matches, meaning the wrestlers had to be more creative of making devistating, brutal moments with less foreign objects at their disposal. That made those moments more shocking. It's harder to be shocked when you're watching a CZW match, cause all the shocking stuff happens too often in too many other matches.

Ruckus is a wrestler, drake is a wrestler, sami is a wrestler, dean ambrose/jon moxley is a wrestler, ego was a wrestler and many many many many MANY czw alumni was better workers than ur favorites promotions locker room was. Paul Heyman was God and Zandig was like Jesus Christ, and u jews mocked jesus... damn its funny how that works out
