  • Randytate is so right , it's not because of( FAR ) from the sun , its because of Sun light hitting the earth directly! and this is because of the earth axis .

99% of people have this mistake to. so please change this video . this is Salman from Riyhad, Saudi Arabia . thanks

  • The earth doesn't ROTATE around the sun, it REVOLVES around the sun.

The earth ROTATES around its own axis.

  • No, don't get rid of it After I've taught my kids how seasons actually work this will be perfect for them to critique and find the errors!

  • Oh dear. A classic case of teacher convincing herself that she knows best. I wonder how many of the kids you have taught and the 124,787 people who have watched this video have come away with the completely incorrect idea that the seasons are caused by changing DISTANCE from the sun. This video should be banned and so should you if you do not remove it!

  • It makes much sense, because when north hemisphere is near the sun in summer, then the south hemisphere is far from the sun, that'd why it is winter here. Gratz.

This was the same crap they teach me in school, I lost my faith in humanity when I figured out it was wrong, and they were teaching wrong things to kids

  • LoL ,and we have a winner!!!!! ha ha ha ha ha... seasons have nothing to do with distance from the sun.

  • The earth revolves or orbits around the sun, and the earth also rotates or spins, please u the correct terms.

  • @Sado0n Actually it's both.

  • We are closest to the sun in winter solstice not the summer. This video is fail.

  • you should know what you are talking about when you post a video
