  • Why don't more people like this more?

  • @dadsey31 clavichord

  • Two gigantic players !

  • The harpsichord/clavichord(?) is a bit brash for my taste. It's weird hearing Oscar play this. Apparently impossible to get any dynamics on the thing. Interesting though. And at points I can hear pitch(es) bending (at around 3:41 and somewhere earlier too)--manifestation of the axe I guess. Never played one so I don't know much about it.

  • Clavichord, even! A little table-top ancestor of the harpsichord...apparently he got the idea from former UK PM Ted Heath, when they were both on a BBC show together!

    Great album.

  • A great album, indeed... It's Oscar Peterson playing the harpsichord, and Joe Pass on his guitar. Thanks for uploading this!
