@layzsailor you can't say that, its all opinion. I agree on the guitar part, but in my opinion john mayers lyrics are either plain and obvious or they just dont make sense. I much prefer mraz's song writing.

@layzsailor two of my favorite musicians but jason mraz beats john in singing abilities although i prefer johns voice jason mraz has amazing vocal control

Jason mraz's music feels more natural and expressing.. John Mayer damn if he isnt the next generation of blues and true that he is far far better guitarist but Jason is far far better singer.

If you guys want to compare JM with jason mraz, than compare JM with bob marley, because that's about how similar jason mraz and john mayer are. and BTW, jason doesn't even come close to John mayer's ability. watch the where the light is blues set if you have any doubt. it's not even close.
