Interesting that you only equate modesty with what women are wearing and not men in this video. Modesty isn't all about clothing and covering one's head. Modesty is a way of acting more than a way of dressing. The opposite of modesty is "flashing for beads at Mardi Gras" or "flashing in a trench coat at the park".

i am never putting on a hijab!

Perfectly put. I cannot stand guys who show of their muscles in public. Anyway..it's not hard to get those.. you just have to hit weights... not difficult.

no Islam has always existed its the Quran that was yet reaveled until 1400yrs ago thank you

And by the way modesty goes for guys too, with all your muscle shirts and stuff! That belongs to your wife and nobody else. If you're not married it belongs to the woman you're going to marry.

THANK You for showing this. Modesty is so important, and it's true Christianity exemplefied this in the past. St. Paul talked about how important it is for women to cover their heads in Church - not because he was mysoginist as so many liberals have said today but because he knew that a woman's head is very beautiful and distracts. People say, "That's stupid, men should control themselves" well yes they should but they need your help ladies! We're a team in this, if you care about chastity!

muwaahhahah =]
The hijab cuts down on competition among women. How many people in the West sacrifice financial savings and health in order to have plastic surgery - in a desperate attempt to meet up to an unrealistic standard of beauty. IN ISLAM, WOMEN ARE APPRECIATED FOR THEIR KNOWLEDGE, PIETY AND CONTRIBUTION TO SOCIETY. When women wear hijab one finds that the most beautiful women are not necessarily the most popular. Rather, a woman is assessed for her mind, and not just superficial physical traits.

In the Twenties,women removed their corsets and bobbed their hair to show their new lifestyle and a break from traditional values of the time. Today, we don't have traditional values- we just let EVERYTHING hang out. Is it really such a surprise that we would have a problem with this? We're tired of not being able to tell our daughters from a hooker when they go out at night! We want better for ourselves and our children and if that so oppressive then it is a sorry state our world has come to.
