This video was taken during the MAF Vision Trip to Ecuador, June 2008. We were privileged to join MAF on a flight from Shell, Ecuador to the village of Tiweano. This video is from final approach to engine shutdown.

  • id be scared as hell to fly with that pilot. holy shit he nearly stalled it on final

  • @Insanity714 I filmed this video. This pilot is the best pilot I have ever flown with in my 12 years and over 1,000 hours of flying. The fact that the stall horn sounded on final is indicative of perfect short field technique. We were never in any danger of stalling, because the stall horn is designed to sound long before the wing actually stalls.

  • @Insanity714 Standard practice on those types of strips. These are some of the best bush pilots in the world. I would be honored to fly with them and I hope to fly for them one day
