Jimmy Borges back in full swing

Jimmy is back in full swing and welcomed with so much love and aloha from dear friends, fans and family, only 8 weeks after his liver cancer surgery! A "Rebirthday" of sorts and a momentous event for Jimmy and all who love him so! With his difficult battle with liver cancer and grave chances of survival, Jimmy's amazing and miraculous recovery, and undeniable will and passion to live, love, and sing his heart out, overjoys and overwhelms all in attendance, witnessing this walking, singing miracle... whose incredible looks and energy make it hard to believe he was ever even ill! And who gives SO MUCH HOPE and INSPIRATION to anyone dealing with such a serious illness as cancer...
JImmy and these awesome musicians (Betty Loo Taylor, Steve Jones, DeShannon Higa, Darryl Pelligrini) jam on a very meaningful rendition of "Just In Time" to a jam-packed full house, at Gordon Biersch (Jazz Wednesdays) at Aloha Tower Marketplace, September 21, 2011.
