Well I understand your point but I didn't buy it, I inherited it from my Grandfather. As for the generator? It ran like a tank and had every single part that would be required to repair problems short of a piston and crankshaft. These gensets are made to last for 100 years and to be used in remote areas where repairmen are not likely to be around. It used many american parts, only the diesel motor itself was made in China. The unit was made and sold by an American Co. for use in America.

dont forget that the goddamned EPA changed the 'rules' regarding emissions in 2007-2008 and no longer allows these most useful of tools, including the Lister engines, to be imported into amerika....
