  • emphaticapathy, I dont really think that mexican drug cartel have a say at all in government policy. the reason marijuana is illegal is because some douchebag made a bunch of propaganda videos in the 1930's because hemp was soon to replace so many things that they would lose money

  • 0:50 How do you abuse marijuana... If you had a brain you would know that you can't abuse it... wow the government did a good job blindsiding everyone

  • @spootboy123 The only reason that margin is so large is because we don't know how many more people would use marijuana and we've not had it legalized and taxed before to know what it would sell for and how much to tax on it. $25-30 billion would probably be a closer estimate but we just don't know

  • you see the propaganda at the beginning. None of those scenes would have had anything to do with weed. But just by putting them there your brain automatically connects weed with those horrific scenes.Analyze

  • @GraveDiggerIII yes i agree those are the main reasons for the margin, good point. i think that there's no reason not to legalize it other than the retards out there that would abuse the substance,, apart from those people, i believe that it would bring nothing but good things to the US. Hopefully CA will be a good test run, hopefully the people will vote wisely

  • @spootboy123

i think its such a huge margin because its hard to estimate the effects on tourism, how many new users there would be, how many new headshops would be opened etc.

  • between $14 - $40B?? that's a huge margin lol

either would be a step in the right direction though

  • well the cartels arent in it to cause harm, they are in it for the money they have a bad reputation of violence but only because they need to protect their income, a syndicate does many illegal things because thats where all the money comes in and there will always be customers.everybody is good at something some go to school but others aren't so good at it so they find something thats a little bit more easier and faster than going to college for many years and pay expensive tuition

  • the whole point is we legalize it so we can get the weed and the money or prohibit it and let the cartels have it and all the money and eventually they will become more powerful than us!

  • Amen. Preach it MPP Staff. No more jailing of recreational and medicinal users.

  • I bet every dumb prohibitionist who saw this would be absolutely offended. It's pretty common for them to be offended by the truth.
