Great drill David Palmer is working on with his coach Shaun Moxham. You can really notice this drills' beneficial results in Palmer's matches, you send a loose crosscourt against him when he's on the T and he's pouncing on the ball volleying it to opposite corner - one of his best shots.

They volley drop is the easy shot, controlling the X-court is what keeps the drill going...When working with A/B players, they tend to splatter X-courts too wide or down the middle of the court. Here Moxham and Palmer have good control of their X-court angle. This drill achieves more than working on the volley drop, also the control of the angle of X-court from the front court. I love the flow and feel of this drill...You really get your hands working fast with the ball.
