I have flown this acft many times. Holding on top for launch is fine. It works well. Yes, if it were launched with the wind, depending on the amont of wind, that would be not good to BAD. Torque roll on this acft is not that big a deal. It appears the acft was tossed with nose a bit too high and the left wing low. That could have been overcome if corrections had been made quickly enouth. Also, was the motor at 100%?

Poorly damaged, what does that mean, he could have damaged it much better? He should have done a better job, crashing and damaging it?

NO the torque rolled it over, and knife-edge there was no lift, so back to the ground it goes. These pusher props have a tendency to roll the aircraft on takeoff , if the prop is big enough, and enough torque. Need to get on the sticks and level the wings very quick
