  • Hi, there should be air gap between e-magnets to repel, when attached closely it will not repel.

  • In repealing mode you got the connections wrong! Those transformers they should push themselves at least 2 inches apart.

  • What if you put one upside down(one acrylic up an the other piece down) ????

    Have you read Edward Leedskalnin book of magnetism?

  • Thank you for posting the video. I am trying to come up with a design for a latch using a solenoid as electromagnet and an NIB disk. The NIB would stick to the axis of the electromagnet in no power mode but then repel strongly when the coil is energized. What are your thoughts?

    u need to remove the outer shell or u need to reverse the wires that feed electricity (+ -) whit only one of the Electromagnets ((not the both)) only one of them

  • i have feeling stanley meyer VIC coil is just like Ed leedskalnin inductor. meyer did mentioned about electromagnet in his lecture.

  • ... so hang one of your electromagnets from a string and you will plainly see that when you reverse the polarization it wil attempt to rotate rather than repel.
