  • @cofpaddy

    You said it.

  • Bilko1234,that's the bollocks! Used to be on the jukebox of The Kensington Park Hotel (AKA Keep Paddies Happy) corner of Lancaster Road and Ladbroke Grove London W11 in the eighties.

Joyous memories of cracking times and hats off to the vivacious, virtuoso musicianship from Planxty & pals.

  • the Planxty collection.

  • do you know in what album can I find this nice song?

  • Johnny was to me the greatist "voice" in Sweeneys men.

His accent the most musical, and songs most magical.

Andy Irvine,Terry Woods, although a little "lesser" are still fantastic to this day, but I miss Johnny!.

  • ah excellent stuff !

  • Gladdens me old heart it does.

  • Yeah, the 1974 date would be right, before Brady and Irvine recorded their now legendary album. Moynihan, Irvine and Brady (and even Christy!) — what a line-up of legendary trad singers that was!

  • I love you bilko ;)
