Cavalier Z24 with Glasspack (Part 1)

Sound of my 1998 Chevy Cavalier.
Exhaust modifications:
- Pacesetter 4-in-1 header
- Magnaflow HiFlow Cat.
- 25 inch Thrush Magnum Glasspack
- all in 2.25 inch diameter

It's really VERY LOUD, so I added the Dynomax UltraFlo (14 inch) muffler at the end. Later I removed the pipe from the muffler again to make this video.

This one really sounds like a 4 cylinder so I hope it is. That said, it sounds like a very healthy and happy 4 cylinder. Nice sound. Take that Japan!

You are right, that was my 4 cylinder. The 2.4 liter engine in best condition - about 50k miles. Sometimes I miss my Cavy - then I've to go to my garage and take a ride with my '85 Caprice Station :o)

Click at (more) at the top right side of the clip. for short: it's a new header and a glasspack, the muffler was removed for this clip.

its actually a 6g72 3ltr swap 5spd fully built single turbo , pushing around 550hp , i don't toll four banger, fagget

r u serious u think a 3000gt vr4 is horrible your a fucking tard especially if u say that a 420a shitty Chrysler motor can smoke it with a turbo and tune even with slicks give me a break man keep dreaming by the way i do own a vr4, for your info i have raced against 420a motor's boosted and believe me not one of them keeped up and thats cause i even gave one of them a 5 car head start and still smoked him by 4 cars now thats fucking sad , yah ill let u believe that an avenger can smoke a VR4
