  • My daughter have 10 years old and her name is Melisa, she like all you videos, and she said you are fright.

  • @mentelogica So cute. I'm glad you and her are enjoying haunt ventures. Shout out from Toronto, Canada. I'd love to visit Spain.

  • Good job. There is nothing better than working on what t like. I keep all your videos with enthusiasm. Congratulations from Spain.

  • @mentelogica Views for Spain, yeah! I would love to do the Tomato fight dressed as a zombie. :) Thanks for watching Haunt Ventures

  • So the entire metal door is being put together on plywood nailed to a framework with a cross support in the back? I saw that last video where you showed the panels but I don't remember whether it was plywood or something else. That is awesome btw!!! Love the metal doors! Can't wait to see you distress them!

  • @HauntedHotSauce Yes the rusty jail doors are built on plywood and secured to a wood frame as shown in haunt ventures Ep 163. Some of the set design panels are made with thin plywood only because we're using what is available free from the PowerHouse of Terror haunted house. Thanks for the question.

  • I was curious as to why you used Monster Mud to paint the doors. I've used MM on a lot of props, but not typically when I'm painting a wood surface like that. What's the benefit over using just paint and sand?

And I agree with Mourik360, it's all in the details. By making sure the thickness of the wood around the lock is uniform it helps sell the idea it's a solid piece of metal and lets the viewer suspend his knowledge it's only a set. Great job!

  • Its all in the details which you seem to duplicate very well. Can't wait to see them when they are completed.

  • The panels and doors look great!

Nice job, thanks for sharing with us.

  • the detail is great!

  • You guys always amaze me! The doors are awesome and I love the lock! Really nice job!
