What do you get when you give 35 volunteers cameras and send them out to tell a community's story? What happens when those interviewers conduct 68 interview sessions at 47 local places of worship, educational institutions, businesses, community groups and nonprofits? What about when those sessions produce over 721 video interviews? Simply put; one heck of a cool project!
Community Mosaic Video Project (CMVP) is an interactive, online program allowing users to watch and discuss interviews featuring community members of various faiths/beliefs/cultures. Interviewees responded to questions on religious/spiritual identity, stereotypes associated with these identities, and how welcoming they find Omaha to be to follow their spiritual or religious paths.
