3-joint Robotic Hand

Gyro sensors attached to my hand measure the angular velocity. The rate is integrated and the angle is feed as set-point to the motors.

Hi there so its 3 gyros? damn i only got 1 and 2 accelaromters, dont suppose you can use them?

@burf2000 Yes, you really need 3 gyros for this to work if you want to make a hand with 3 joints (because the code needs to compute the angles). You can make a single-joint hand with a single gyro (see my other video).

NXT retail kit is about 350 and each gyro about 50 ... it,s not about the money it,,s about the fact that tomorrow all of this can be something entirely different --- viva lego :D
