@peepintom2 Yes I remember the teen club! My dad was stationed at Andersen from 68 to 70. I went to the Navy Hospital with the Burlington Express on a CYO trip to hang out with wounded Vets Christmas time 1969.

I used to live on Ponapei street right across from the field that the superfort and teen club and pool were on. I played football with Kenny White and Ernie Pinder. I was on the Rams and we lost the championship to the Bears against Rick Dolbear and ? Joiner. {cant remember everyones name} I lived across from Gail Berger and next to the Bird's {Pam and her brothers}. I used to listen to Burlington express practice. They were the next block over. Good times!!!

@peepintom2 I believe Terry had a White Telecaster and a Fender bassman. A guy named Jerry Welch bought the same rig. I do remember Steve drowning at Tarague. He was a great guitar player. John Carroll had just bought the Beatle White album when I met him and he showed me some Guitar he had picked off of it. I had just started playing at that time. I hate to hear about John. He was a nice guy and a good player also. I can't place Mike Burke but that name sounds real familiar. Hafa Adai!

yes, I too went to Dededo, I was an office assistant to the secretary June Evangelista. The others in our band was Terry Farnham-lead guitar, Tom Farnham-keyboard, Steve- I can't remember his last name- bass, and Mel Vaughn-singer. Mel was a black airman . Do you remember Steve Fausch that played lead guitar for the Watch Band, who drowned at Tarague Beach? I used to run around with Mike Burke and John Carroll. Mike is in NYC, and John was killed in a car wreck in New Mexico in the 80's

@peepintom2 I was on Guam from may 68 till May 70. I remember Burlington Express and those blue shirts they had. Dale Ball played in a band in Louisiana named Magenta that was real good after he left Guam. I do remeber Yellow brick road also but can't place who was in the band. We probably went to school together at Dededo as I am 56 also. Those were good times.
