The final song sung at the final stop of the Nickel Creek Farewell (for now) Tour was an abbreviated and un-amplified version of the song Why Should the Fire Die. Oh my god, that is so prefect . I've always loved that song, and as the finale as their final tour....almost crying. I'm so sad they've broken up, they made such amazing music. Their solo stuff is good but not the same.

I agree. This show was the most incredibly amazing thing I have ever heard or seen. (or ever will for that matter) Especially when they sang this song as a second encore. It got soo quiet in the building that you could hear a pin drop. Spine tingling. *sniff sniff* It was so sad.
