  • how is that snare mounted? suspension mount?

  • Yeah, that´s right!

  • hay jung what does it mean when drummer says play on the 2 and 4 what do they mean cheers jonny

  • Hey Jonny, play on 2 and 4 asks you to play strong (backbeats) on beat 2 and 4. So if you´re playing a 4/4 beat, you count till 4 and you play strong snare strokes on beat 2 and 4..

  • Yay! Cool... I'm trying this on my didjeridoo (and maybe post a video of it). It's a pity you live in Canada and I live in Italy, we could make good jam together! :-)

  • Yeah, that would be fun!

You wrote: "we could make good jam together!" I had such a good laugh, do you know what it means? It means we could make some great marmelade, isn´t that funny? I liked your didgeridoo skillz a lot, keep up the good work

    Ciao

  • You are basically displacing the 2 notes from snare. Same on the 3 snare pattern too.

  • @jodgey4 @jungleritter What means Suspension mount?

  • man that snare sounds good!

  • loving the snare drum, its so joey jordison

  • Poly rhythms will train your left hand too

Like a 4/4 beat but your left and playing 3/4

then playing these double strokes and triple strokes on top of that ;) pretty amazing if anyone reads this and wants to try it

  • That is ONE way, but matve not the best way. The best way is to isolate the left hand and work on the arm, wrist, hand and finger strength independently. The second most effective is then to do drills such as these, moving around note placement to any of the "big 15" combinations. You can do the same with the right foot, which is perfect for getting comfortable with any possible note permutations and also great for lh/bd independence, which is really rooting your balance.

  • he reminds me of jason segel for some reason
