Which is why after the prince was tricked by a dying Vizier to unleash the Sands of Time that turns out to destroy a kingdom and transforms its populace into ferocious demons. In his effort to save his own kingdom and redeem his fatal mistake, it's up to the prince and the princess to return the sands to the hourglass by using the Dagger of Time, which also gives him a limited control over the flow of time

YES YES YES YES. Trailer looks great, He looks like the prince n voice is seems correct too. this movie looks like they might be putting Sands of time, warrior within & two thrones all together..

@zeldafan4everz The first and 3rd Prince of Persia games didn't much that couldn't be shown in the Pirates movies. The only game the in the series that would need a R rated movie was Warrior Within, and that's because they were trying to appeal to people that like senseless violence. So don't worry, I think this movie will be good.

first I ask why is it PG-13 when it should be rated R? and Why would disney make a movie based on an M Rated game?? I have all the prince of persia game I have enjoyed them all! but still disney? I just dont get it!! and the Prince looks like him but his personality is a bit different. Hes going to be more comedic. and the director is the guy who made Pirates of the carribean..oh yay.... I hope he doesnt screw prince of persia up!

Almost all the movies made based on games turned out pretty lame....but somehow i feel this will be an exception....i've already read its script & it was good....i think this movie cud be rated almost as 7/10. :)

Pray not to. I expect from them two sequels of this movie, just like the game was divided into three games. It would be Uber-Cool except for the fact that I know the story, but it would be the first good game-based movie!
