How to drive a manual (basics)

*NOTE: The "no-gas method" is NOT intended to be used in everyday driving. It is simply to determine (indicate) the friction or the catch point of your clutch. You MUST apply gas as you release the clutch to accelerate otherwise, you WILL stall! Hope this clears everything up. =) *

A lot of my friends don't know how to drive a manual transmission so I decided to make a video. And I use the word "basically" way too much. =P

Thanks for this video i have my car for a week now the first 3 days no one teach me i just doit my self I used to drive an automatic for more than 10 years is a lot better to have a manual the only problem is if you are on the fw and there is traffic i get a honda si 2002. good car.

If you do downshift when slowing down the engine doesn't take any fuel, this happens also when you go downhill with a gear on

@TheAlexLeko i know what you mean. i just started yesterday and im already on the roads. I got it down with the starts but i get the occasional stalls and it's damn right embarrassing but never have i had more fun driving a car.
