If you were to re-tune that thing, you;d get a lot less ring and overtones, but you really need to take it slooooow and truly pitch match each lug. Even if you wanted to crank the crap out of it like you already have, if you simply pitch match each lug perfectly, on both the reso and batter heads, it will sound significantly better.

@SCOUTCHRIS thanks man...i know, i bought this on ebay used for 125, the day it came in i made this video and relisted and sold if for triple what i paid. just made a quick demo for people to see it. and yes i agreee it sounds awful.
