This is like one of the more bizarre methods used in the film 'Mousetrap'! Less tekkie,but I got rid of one by chucking a brick at it when it scurried across the living room! It wasn't expecting that!

10KV * 30mA = 300Watts, 3 light bulbs, and that is only when the circuit is close (a short is set between the electrodes. Won't made a dent in his electric bill...
