How to put addons on to garrys mod if it doesnt work for you

this video tells you how how get to use you addons if they dont appear on the game.
open C://programfiles/steam/steamapps/yourusername/garrysmod/garrysmod

copy and paste contents from the download (models and materials)

press yes to the windows that pop up (this merges the 2 files together)

when on garrys mod open the browse tab and press '+' on the 'All' button and search for the name of the addon

Some downloads tell you what the name of the addon is such as the one i downloaded on the video told me that the ragdolls would be in a tab under 'All' called 'survivors'

Some addons havent worked with me :( this could be the uploaders fault
