  • hey, omito i need your info on something, i need to pick only one, which one would you pick...? keyrig49 or mpd18

  • @musicflowable well man you're comparing 2 different things, correct? A MIDI Keyboard and a drum sampler. But I guess that it depends on what you are going to use it for. I use the KeyRig49 as both a keyboard and I assign the keys to act as drum pads. But if you want strictly for sampling a drum sampler would definately give you a better feel for sampling. So it really just depends on what you will be doing with whatever you buy

  • @omitobeats well ima go with the keyrig49 to be safe.lol aye how do you get your samples on the keys??

  • @musicflowable ahaha do either one i'd say either is good. but for sampling it's usually done on a drum sampler. but if you use FL Studio you can load up FPC (FL Studio Plugin) and load the samples in there, or you can slice and create using Slicex (FL Studio Plugin) and the samples get assigned to various keys on the midi keyboard. it's not too difficult. if i'm not too busy tomorrow or on the weekend i might post a video

  • Drop the world anyone?

  • @BardDesigns ahaha i know the producers of Drop the World used that same exact synth arp. It's a default synth in FL Studio under the Sytrus VST if you want to look it up. But know that synth is known for being in Drop the World.
