The O.C. Season 4 - Episode 4 "The Metamorphosis"

First, Summer goes to her counselor and discusses how she has changed since shes been in college...but only to avoid the fact that her best friend Marissa has died. Her counselor tells her that this is a phase called "Grief". Summer denies it...which is a one of the stages of grief. Summer also goes through other stages, such as: Anger, Bargaining, Depression, and Acceptance. Then she realizes that she has to change, in order for things to go good with Seth again.

In the airport, Seth is talking to Ryan, telling him that he thinks the only reason that Summer invited him to Providence is just to break up with him, because shes changed. But as Seth turns around...he sees the "old" Summer walking up to him. Then she kisses him. "My baby's back!"
