  • hm can't get any MIDI input at all in amplitube in cubase here - I can't even enter CC values in that box, it does nothing! Any ideas? you seem to have got it working but didn't explain how to get the pedal to actually talk to amplitube - the only MIDI input selector I seem to find has StompIO and Stealthpedal options, and nothing else.

  • @sonicwingnut yeah, if your using it as a plug-in, the host has midi control. So what you need to do is map Cubase functions and use the "host automation" feature of Amplitube. Not sure if that helps, but I don't have Cubase. Maybe google Cubase plug in midi control. I'm happy to walk you through the Logic/Mainstage method if that gives you any idea to work on - just let me know.

  • @JasTheMusicman ah yeah, I shall have a quick look for that option now... oh dear I completely missed the bottom section where it says MIDI and AUTO..(doh) awesome I think I may be able to figure this out now. The nice thing with the behringer is it can send 10 commands at once so I'm guessing I can use program change messages for guitar rig and CCs for amplitube without changing settings on the behringer.

  • @sonicwingnut No problem, it's an easy thing to miss! That's right, the FCB will be able to send up to 10 messages at once so that should help.

  • I just got a FCB1010 and a e-mu usb MIDI interface on a PC, and im using a program similar to iFCB called FCB1010 midi editor utility. i've tried and tired and still Amplitube fails to recognize the presets, it only seems to recognize the expression pedals. could it be that i need to update the frimware or could it be that i'm using a PC. if you could help or point me in the right direction i'd be greatful

  • Oh and MIDI-OX is free, just google it and you'll find the website.

  • does anybody out there know if amplitube can sync to an external midi clock? i can't find that info anywhere.

  • @JasTheMusicman hi I did the whole procedure, but the pedals turned off only? where wrong

  • why the hell everybody in those bloody videos skip the step sending settings to FCB - because that's the real stumbling block. In my case, although I follow all the instructions in the pop-up window after clicking send, I never actually sends the parameters to FCB. So why not show how this very "sending procedure" works??? Everybody says "I've already done that". Come on! that's a tutorial, so you can't take anything for granted? Please do show!

  • When will you give a tutorial on how to use the Behringer FCB 1010 with Ampli Tube 3 in Pro Tools LE 8. Can get FCB to work in stand alone but not in Pro Tools when using Ampli Tube as a plugin, By the way great video,Very helpfull.
