  • Yep. gDGBD. This is one of the true" G tunes. (I frequently play A tunes in G rather than search a capo... :-) )

    whats a Dobson-style tone ring?, never heard of that type of tone ring before

  • It's a sliced-in-half doughnut-shaped ring, heavier than a "Bacon-style," and curving down, towards the back of the banjo.
