Summer Reds on the Sand of Laguna Madre with Capt. Scott Sparrow

In early June, my client and waded the sand of the Lower Laguna Madre. Casting to reds, trout, and ladyfish in crystal clear water, we came upon a huge school of reds. This video gives you the flavor of the a typical sunny day on this unique subtropical venue. It's no secret, but it's so out the way that most people still don't know about it. Whenever you can. It usually doesn't matter whether it's in or out, but whether it's moving.

@jake62194 I was just down there and found some sand flats and grass flats along the padre side north of the town by about five miles, in an area surrounded by flat salt flats. I didnt fish or anything, jus waded and swam a little, but it looked just like this, calm clear water, so different from the upper texas coast where i live.

beautiful pristine waters accompanied by a beautiful day and great fishing, no other place in the world like this and im glad to be a part of south texas!!
