Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta faced off with prosecutor Luis Moreno Ocampo as he gave his testimony to ICC judges. Uhuru denied planning any form of violence and asserted that he rejected support from the Mungiki.NTV's Pamela Asigi has more from The Hague.
@mzee4457, do not forget JM Kariuki and many others. We do not need this baggage to move on. Mass action is not anywhere near to mass murder, rape, maim and burning out of livelihood. These guys should learn to carry their own crosses. There is no room for beating about the bush, a hint to such politics in an international court will not win the day for these guys, and they should strive to exonerate themselves from blame instead of attempting to drag others along with them. What a sorry lot?

His father assassinated Tom Mboya among others. Son carries on the legacy of murder, graft and other crimes to hang on to power. Does Kenya need such evil to move forward ????

@olmaa, As far as we are concerned people were raped, maimed, burnt-out of their livelihood and some made refugees in their own country just for doing the right thing. MR Uhuru is not going to pull the wool over our eyes through insubstantial reasoning. No unsavoury reasoning or support by those who think with their tails and not their heads will win the day either.

First mistake Ocampo made was interviewing UK himself. What did he have to gain? Did his ego get in the way? Have one of your underlings do it. Based on this clip and a few others on youtube, I think UK did well for himself. Ocampo was going on a lot of hearsay. Wapi phone records, I've never been to statehouse but I assume you have to sign somewhere to get in, where are those records? If Ocampo couldnt tell us UK's net worth to show the ability to carry 100Mil in cash then the case is doomed.

Ocampo is very clear he told Uhuru that its ocampos job to investigate Uhuru and not Uhuru to tell the court who needs to be investigated.UhuruS friends can fooled that Uhuru ignoredOcampo but Ocampo hold the office by the virtue of the fact that he isone of the number lawyers. The fact that Uhuru ignored him shall cost Uhuru DEARLY. The fact that uhuru plays ocampo's role to tell theplanet the true enemy of kanu is but abig mistake andmight be used against him.Uhuru is digrading world court???

Raila should take responsibility for killing and maiming luos in Naivasha and Nakuru. And Uhuru continues, Raila should also take responsibility for flushing and burning people out of their livelihood and making them IDPs or refugees in their own country; sounds lugubrious to say the least.
