It actually goes 65 mph (104.6 km/h). Length-3800 ft (1158.2 m). Height requirements-51" (130 cm). The Cost is USD $45 Million Dollars. The ride is really fun.

ok, i have a friend who knows THE manager of Universal Orlando Resort, who is also overseeing the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, and my friend just talked to him today and he, the manager, said that everything is going great for that Rockit, and that if things continue to go well then the ride will be opening on Sunday, August 16, 2009!!!!!! I promice you I am NOT making this up, and that means that for now, the official opening date for the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit is August 16, 2009!!!!!!!!!!!!

It only does that for testing. It actually goes pretty fast up the lift hill. The speed is 11 feet per second, and it takes 16 seconds to get to the top

Well, it's kind of hard to compare this to Manta, since they are two completely different and unique experiences.

It won't lift that slow. It will ascend to the crest in about 16 seconds.
