Waffen-SS Militaria Collection UPDATE

Here is a little history on the tunics that are for the- 11th SS "Nordland Panzergrenadier Division & 9th SS "Hohenstaufen" Panzer Division


11.SS "Nordland" Panzergrenadier Division
The Division was formed in July 1943 and was intended to be a Norwegian Volunteer unit but by the end of the war volunteers from alot of countys like Estonia,Latvia,France,Dutch,German and a few more had either been in the unit or attached to it but the 11th SS fought on the Ostfront (Eastern Front) against the soviet red army and fought in Leningrad,Narva,Courland Pocket,Prussia,Pomerania, and the divisions final battle was in the famous "Battle for Berlin" and it was destroyed there by the soviets....it was one of the few SS units left to defend berlin.....

9th SS "Hohenstaufen" Panzer Division

Hitler created the division in February 1943,And served on the eastern front then the unit was sent west on 12 June to defend Caen in Normandy..Hohenstaufen suffered losses from Allied fighter bombers during its move to Normandy, delaying its arrival until 26 June 1944...the 9th SS had lost 7,000 men by the end of Normandy....Then fought in holland during "Operation Market Garden" and are famous for holding the Arnhem Bridge...then they were re-outfitted for the "Battle of the Bulge"...then fought in Hungary then surrendered to the americans May 1.1945

Where could I get really good smocks and should I get an m40 or m43 uniform and where can I get an original ss belt buckle

@11thSSNordlandPzG Of course, but the rifle will have to be the MP-43 for obvious reasons :P Tomorrow I'm starting the cosmetic customization on the rifle, then finishing the stock off for a realistastic finish :D

@bulletnumber9 awsome man!.but you need to use ur Stg-44 for them impressions instead of the green air rifle.......but when you get your M43 tunic make a video!

@11thSSNordlandPzG I will do man!!! Simply going for the M43 greys, M40 stahlhelm, Torque, scarf, captured Soviet Great Coat, jackboots (or Soviet boots) and standard K98 webbing. My Normandy '44/ Berlin '45 is going well, just need more webbing and an M43 tunic to finish it :)

@bulletnumber9 the song is of the 8th SS "Florian Geyer" Marching song.and thats awsome man!.....and the ostfront ribbion came on the tunic and i will be on the Ostfront this winter battleing the reds! lol.....but when when you do the 1st SS LAH panzer division impression for kharkov do a video dude! it will be great!!

@11thSSNordlandPzG Ah yes the Luftschutz Stahlhelm! May I ask what the song is mein friendly soldat?? :) Also I got myself a nice Soviet EM Artillery great coat :D I also see you have the eastern front ribbon! I take it you earned it during Operation Spring Awakening :)

P.S I'm doing a 1943 impression for the LSSAH at Kharkov!! :D
