K&Nela Music consists of two very talented songwriters/producers. Both hailing from the West Coast this dynamic duo has been setting the World on fire since they jumped on the scene. Their musical catalog is probably one of the deepest in the Polynesian music scene. Dating back all the way to 1996 when they wrote hits like "Island Girls", "Wake Up My Darling", "Nani" and "Two Years To Eternity" from the classic Pau Hana album "Return With Honour".
They've been recognized for their work on the Mana Poly All-Stars projects that was nominated for the "Southern California R&B Album of the Year" in 2005 for MPA's 1st Album "S.Pasifik Musik". Later on that same year MPA took home the Orange County Music Awrds "Best Out of County Album of the Year". In 2010 they released their 2nd album with MPA titled "Riddim & Blues". This project included the International hit song "Gunshots" which garnered the 2010 Independent Music Awards coveted "Social Action Song of the Year".
2010-2011 Have been an extremely busy years for K&Nela Music writing and producing. They released the highly anticipated Teki album "I Wanna Luv" which they wrote the title track for the LP. This project also included hits like "Shut It Down" and "Do Yuh Thang". In the Summer of 2011 they were hired to write the Music for the TV/Internet Show "Island Beats". Their TV exposure did not stop there when they received placements on VH1's "What Chilli Wants". They ended their summer by featuring and writing this year's island anthem "Island Sound" with Mangrove Records recording artist Justin Wellington. They ended 2011 in the studio working with up and coming Polynesian artists, Trey Smoove, Dinah Jane, Zhen, Siaosi, Kiwini, and the legendary Fiji. Most recently they entered the studio with the biggest Polynesian artist and hottest international reggae superstar JBoog.
With many projects already in progress for 2012 these two look to set the world on fire.
