Poor weather conditions have caused a small plane to crash in Nepal, killing the 14 passengers on board, including four American tourists.
A 15-seater Agni Air plane was making its way 25 minutes away to the hiking town of Lukla, the Los Angeles Times reports, when the plane was advised by air traffic control to not go any further because of thick clouds ahead.
The pilot headed for Simra airport, but before the plane made it, it crashed about 50 miles south of Katmandu near Shikharpur village.
"It has been raining very heavily for some days," a source told the LA Times. "Weather was the reason for the crash."
