Sorry to burst your bubbles, but that isn't Roma singing. It's a Gaelic artist by the name of Aoife Ni Fearraigh. Roma is reciting the words of the blessing. Still an absolutely beautiful recording. Phil Coulter is one of the best song writers, Irish or otherwise.

Roma can SING?! Wasn't aware of that! Amazing! 8^)

Brings tears to the eyes. i've seen touched by an angel, and she was my favorite, but I never knew she could sing like one.

@Zeesmurf Definitely is heaven on Earth. I think Ireland is the most beautiful place on Earth. Ireland's landscape is too magical for words. :)

She has a BEAUTIFUL voice!!! It's so funny because Monica couldn't sing. :D It takes talent to sing off key, and this lady has so much talent!

@NocturnalGoddess4637
I was last in Éire back in June... Just in time to catch the semi's of All Ireland's Hurling between Kilkenny and pass (I know it was Kilkenny because my friend, who was over from NY at the time is a massive Cats fan). I would love to return, as/when I have the cash.
Too late, already added you ;-)

Ahh now I recognise it...
Peadar O'Riada and The Coolea Choir sang it at Phil's 'The Live Experience' concert in Limerick back in 1996.
Sláinte mhaith a chara!
