WTVF 6:30 close August 1990

Closing of newly-created 6:30 report from WTVF NewsChannel5, circa August 1990. 6:30 achor Bud Hedinger throws it to Chris Clark and Vicky Yates for a tease of the 10:00 report, then closing with a human interest story and invites viewers to stay tuned for "Election 90" coverage (local elections were held on this day.) WTVF had just started using the Palmer News Package, and this is the standard close from the PNP. In later days, Bud would throw it only to Chris for the 10:00 report tease, and during the close, he and Chris would walk off the set together.

I remember Bud when he did the weather at WSYR Channel 3 Syracuse in the 1970's. He also hosted Bowling For Dollars on the same station.
