A 3D animation of a car pileup I made using 3DS Max 8.

I didn't use Reactor or any sort of physics or damage engine, just plain animation to see how realistic I could make it by hand.

I used the rotate and drag tools, as well as "edit mesh" to create the deforming cars and damage effects.

I downloaded the cars from Turbosquid (search for Nissan Primera, its a free model), and I made the buildings in the background for reference.

  • this was all keyframed manually. I edited the mesh of the cars by myself to make them deform. please read the description

  • i know i meant where can i find and download a damage engine for blender i always read descriptions

  • heres a better 3d soft body physiks game: Rigs of Rods: PLEASE GOOGLE IT AND THUMBS UP IF U LIKE ITS FREE SOFT BODY PHISICS> it has honda, lexus, and many many more.
