can someone help me with this thing? i just got home and idk why the train was in the middle of E train between WTC and Cortlandt Street and it stopped in the tunnel, opened both sides doors and for a 5 minutes, the train went normal again. why so?

didnt it say THIS IS A 96 STREET-BOUND, W TRAIN, VIA R LINE. THE NEXT STOP IS.. DEKALB AVENUE. IT SAID 96 STREET?? LISTEN CAREFULLY!
