well said zayashuku! This was the style in Turkey at the time and you can see many dancers in the 80's and 90's dance in a similar style and similar costumes no different than it is now people have been swamped wit westernised egyptian styles of dancing and costuming and society is lead to believe that is the one and only true oriental dancing, which is ridiculous because of the range and variety of middle eastern countries that all have their own variation!

Cannot dance, why even bother. She has a nice body, but you really have to know how to dance before you wear a belly dance costume....sooo stupid!!!

A serious depilatory job is a must if you have to wear this costume.

no, i agree with you, her costume is not that good. I cannot see how someone who is a serious dancer with some taste can like this.

@naleyasemele64 The dancer is wearing a Turkish costume, and dancing Turkish style. Maybe if your teacher taught you some things, you'd know this. I hate it more when people only taught in one style of belly dance assumes it's the right one. This style may not be for you, but it's the Turkish culture. Costume looks no different than a Brazilian samba parade costume and that covers WAAAAAY less.
