@michelvanhoudt Oh yes I just realized this. In Derek's 2009 NTSC speed run he used TWO rockets with the first one being "airborne". This is fabulous! Thanks!!

Hi Derek, great to see you continuing this speed run after half year's technical breakdown! I have been waiting all along!
When you did the speed run with Gamecube US version load game, you launched a rocket just before the cut scene of the guy in red entering the chamber. So when the cut scene starts the rocket was still airborne. It saved Leon's time to launch the rocket.
In this speed run you didn't do this. Was it because the split-second timing difficult to replicate?
