  • 4 well known football player and analysts and yet none realises how Englands defense was forced by Germany to do the mistakes they are complaining about. Even I can see that the passing in the midfield and breakthrough is designed to stretch the defensive, get defenders out of position and open spaces for other German players.

Maybe the reason for not acknowledging this is, that you have to give the German team credit for this gamestyle.

  • I think Oezil is on the same level as Lionel Messi.

  • Germany, an average team with a few world class players. England, second rate team, with no world class players. Let's face it, only Lineker & David Platt have ever been world class from England.

  • Reasons NOT to have Chelsea or West Ham players in the national squad.

  • @adi87tya

    No.

Oezil is much better in ball control and creativity.

Messi needs others with ideas and ball control who are able to iron out his mistakes.

You could see at the Wolrd Cup that Schweinsteiger, Mueller and Oezil are much better then Messi if he is left to his own abilities.

  • "the application of moder technology can be very costly"

youre FIFA for crying out loud. youre supposed to be richer than any of the players. i mean if it really is that costly then take money out of the players coz they get too much as it is!

  • @LT3492 all right, I see now. I didn't understand what you've meant cause I'm not very familiar with English, sometimes I struggle a bit cause I haven't spoken it for years now; greetz from Germany ;)

  • @HarryParry2011 You've pretty much reiterated what I said. I said it was a great counter attacking goal, but you'd expect Germany to make a chance when a man over, because of they quality they have... I was merely stating that England should never have pushed as many forward as they did, with 25 minutes remaining, potentially avoidable when you leave more men back than they have forward... Believe me, I'd give Özil credit when it's due. One of my favourite players!

  • @LT3492 3rd goal: To me Özil, the attacker in the middle, was the most important player. He simply straights on in high tempo and therefore "binds" the left defender, at the same time giving Müller the space he needs to score. Perfect, intelligent counter attack.

  • @EraserFS no,its that they deal with it week in, week out for their clubs. They deal with it in the Champions League. The analysts cant understand why in this game. England were destroyed just by well executed basic football. I'm Irish so if anything biased against the English.
