Great film , now take away the open cockpit , loose the modern instrument panel replace the seat with plywood one and there you have a cadet Kirby glider , talk about fly by the seat of your pants LOL

I've never used the winch to launch, but I'm going to when i go for my license this summer. :) looks like fun.
